Generally, the climate in Madrid is dry and sunny. Nevertheless, it is characterized by two months of extreme heat : July and August; and between December and February when the winter in Madrid is very cold. The uncommon months of rain are those of October to November and March to May. The spring and the autumn are the seasons the most pleasant to visit the city.
